Bečići (Cyrillic: Бечићи, ) is a town in the municipality of Budva, Montenegro. It is located south-east of Budva, and has 895 permanent residents (2011 census). Overview It has a 1,950-metre-long sandy beach along the southern Adriatic. In 1935 it won the ''Grand Prix'' in Paris as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Several sections of the beach are private and are only accessible to the hotel guests. In contrast to Budva's large number of private housing units, Bečići town mostly consists of medium and large hotels. Hotel Splendid is a 5-star hotel in Bečići, Montenegro. The hotel was completely reconstructed between 2005 and 2006. Hotel’s history Hotel Splendid is owned and managed by the ''Montenegro Stars Hotel Group''. The management company was established in 2003. In December 2003 a land slot with the building of the former hotel Splendid was bought. Next year it was decided to demolish the old building and construct an entirely new, five-star resort. Cetinje (, ) is a town in Montenegro. It is the former royal capital (''prijestonica'' / приjестоница) of Montenegro and is the location of several national institutions, including the official residence of the president of Montenegro. Bosniaks are an ethnic group in Montenegro, first introduced in the 2003 census. According to the last census from 2011, the total number of Bosniaks in Montenegro was 53,605 or 8.6% of the population.
