Beyond (Virgin Comics)
''Beyond'' is a three issue series from Virgin Comics. It was created by Deepak Chopra and written by Ron Marz with art by Edison George and is being adapted from a screenplay written by Chopra. Plot The solicit described the series as "Chopra's original story of an American businessman who is propelled across dimensions and into an adventure like no other. While traveling in India with his family, his wife disappears, he will stop at nothing - and go literally anywhere - to save her." The following issue will continue the journey of Michael (the protagonist) in his search for his wife Anna. Production The series was planned to run 4 issues in its debut arc but only 3 issues were published, leaving the continuing storyline incomplete. Release Launched in late May 2008 Movie adaptation Suri Krishnamma will direct the film adaptation of the supernatural thriller comic, the screenplay is currently in works from Deepak Chopra. Liquid Comics is an Indian comic book Publishers company, founded in 2006 as Virgin Comics LLC, which produced stories (many of which are Indian-culture related) for an international audience. Deepak Chopra
Deepak Chopra (; ; born October 22, 1946) is an Indian-American author and alternative medicine advocate. A prominent figure in the New Age movement, his books and videos have made him one of the best-known and wealthiest figures in alternative medicine. His discussions of quantum healing have been characterised as technobabble – "incoherent babbling strewn with scientific terms" which drives those who actually understand physics "crazy" and as "redefining Wrong". Ron Marz (born November 17, 1965) is an American comic book writer, known for his work on titles such as ''Batman/Aliens'', '' DC vs. Marvel'', '' Green Lantern'', '' Silver Surfer'', and '' Witchblade''. Career Marz is known for his work on '' Silver Surfer'' and '' Green Lantern,'' as well as the '' DC vs. Marvel'' crossover and ''Batman/Aliens''. Comics Bulletin was a daily website covering the American comic-book industry. History Silver Bullet Comicbooks The site was founded in January 2000 as Silver Bullet Comicbooks by its New Zealand-based publisher/editor Jason Brice. During this period, the site made efforts to support retired comics professionals. Suri Krishnamma (born 10 May 1961) is a British film director and writer best known for feature films '' A Man of No Importance'', ''New Year's Day'' and '' Dark Tourist'' and television dramas ''A Respectable Trade'' and ''The Cazalets''.
