Beyneu
Beyneu () is a village and the administrative center of Beyneu District in Mangystau Region in western Kazakhstan. Beyneu first began to expand in the 1970s from a village to a city with the discovery of oil in the area. There is a railway station, and further up north in Kasura, there is a Chevron oil plant. The gas pipeline of the Central Asia–Center gas pipeline system metering station at Beyneu on the border with Uzbekistan. Beyneu District
Beyneu District ( kk, Бейнеу ауданы, Beineu audany) is a district of Mangystau Region in south-western Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the auyl of Beyneu. The district's population was 68,285 in 2018. The Census population in 2009 was 46,937 and in 1999 had been 26,548. Geography The territory of the district is occupied by the eastern edge of the Caspian lowland with sands and salt marshes (Dead Kultuk, etc.), the eastern part is the Ustyurt Plateau with the Mynsualmas hill. Reserves of petroleum and gas, shell rock, and construction sands have been explored in the depths. The climate is continental. The average temperature in January is -4 °C, July 25–27 °C. Mangystau Region
Mangystau ( kk, Маңғыстау облысы, Mañğystau oblysy; russian: Мангистауская область, Mangistauskaya oblast) is a Regions of Kazakhstan, region of Kazakhstan. Its capital is Aktau (a seaport), which has a population of 183,350 (2017); the entire Mangystau Province has a population of 736,795 (2021). Geography The region is located in the southwest of the country, and includes Mangyshlak Peninsula. It has much of Kazakhstan's Caspian Sea, Caspian Shore. It also borders neighboring countries Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Mangystau also borders two other Kazakh regions (counter-clockwise), Aktobe Region and Atyrau Region. The area of the region is 165,600 square kilometers. Central Asia–Center Gas Pipeline System
The Central Asia – Center gas pipeline system is a Gazprom controlled system of natural gas pipelines, which run from Turkmenistan via Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia. The eastern branch includes the Central Asia – Center (CAC) 1, 2, 4 and 5 pipelines, which start from the south-eastern gas fields of Turkmenistan. The western branch consists of the CAC-3 pipeline and a project to build a new parallel Caspian pipeline. The western branch runs from the Caspian Sea coast of Turkmenistan to north. The branches meet in western Kazakhstan. From there the pipelines run to north where they are connected to the Russian natural gas pipeline system. History The system was built between 1960 and 1988. Construction began after discovery of Turkmenistan's Dzharkak field in the Amu Darya Basin, and the first section of the pipeline was completed in 1960. Village

Petroleum, also known as crude oil, or simply oil, is a naturally occurring yellowish-black liquid mixture of mainly hydrocarbons, and is found in geological formations.
