Bewsey
Bewsey and Whitecross is a ward to the west of the town centre of Warrington (and includes much of the town centre), in the Borough of Warrington, Warrington district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The town's General Hospital is within the ward. The area is served by the 16/16A bus route from Dallam to Warrington. Sankey Valley Park runs through Bewsey, there are community centres at Whitecross and Bewsey Park, and a community and health hub is to be built to serve the former council estates of Bewsey and Dallam. There are five primary schools, while the nearest high schools are Beamont Collegiate Academy in the Orford, Warrington, Orford area, Great Sankey High School in Great Sankey, and St Gregory's RC High School. Warrington
Warrington () is a town and unparished area in the borough of the same name in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey. It is east of Liverpool, and west of Manchester. The population in 2019 was estimated at 165,456 for the town's urban area, and just over 210,014 for the entire borough, the latter being more than double that of 1968 when it became a new town. Warrington is the largest town in the ceremonial county of Cheshire. In 2011 the unparished area had a population of 58,871. Warrington was founded by the Romans at an important crossing place on the River Mersey. A new settlement was established by the Saxon Wærings. Orford, Warrington
Orford is a suburb of Warrington, in the Warrington district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Originally a small area north of the township of Warrington, it is now a large area between the town centre and the M62, incorporating other small communities, such as Longford. Orford area had a population of 10,950 at the 2001 census. Orford Hall was demolished in the 1930s after the grounds were given to the town for Orford Park. Jubilee Park, a £30m project providing community and sporting facilities on former waste land between the park and Winwick Road, opened May 2012. William Beamont, a Victorian solicitor and philanthropist, lived at Orford Hall, which had previously been the seat of the Blackburne family. Beamont Collegiate Academy
Beamont Collegiate Academy (formerly William Beamont Community High School) is a mixed secondary school in the Orford area of Warrington, Cheshire, England. The school is named after William Beamont, a Victorian philanthropist and the first mayor of Warrington. Previously a community school administered by Warrington Borough Council, William Beamont Community High School converted to academy status in 2013 and was renamed Beamont Collegiate Academy. The school is now sponsored by Warrington Collegiate, however the school continues to coordinate with Warrington Borough Council regarding its admissions. Great Sankey High School (GSHS) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Warrington, Cheshire, England.
