The Bestune B50 (formerly Besturn B50) is a compact sedan produced by the Chinese car manufacturer Bestune from 2009 to 2019. Bestune began to sell its vehicles in the Russian market in 2012 with the B50 as the first model to be sold there, which debuted at the 2012 Moscow International Automobile Salon. First Generation The first generation Besturn B50 is a car designed by Italdesign Giugiaro, based on the old Mazda 6 that is still in production at the FAW-Mazda joint venture, and the 1.6-liter engine comes from the Volkswagen Bora made by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter I4 engine. In 2013, with 62,342 sales, the B50 was the most popular model in the Besturn range, and in the year 2014, 72,259 units were sold. The Bestune X80 (formerly Besturn X80) is a Compact car, Compact Crossover sport utility vehicle, CUV produced by the Chinese car manufacturer Bestune. Overview The Besturn X80 was previewed by the FAW X concept car that debuted on the 2011 Auto Shanghai, while the production version of the Besturn X80 first appeared at Auto Shanghai in 2013, and on 16 May of that year it came into Chinese dealerships. Two of the engines of the Besturn X80 are sourced from Mazda, including a 146hp 2.0 liter engine and a 154hp 2.3 liter engine. Both engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic transmission. A FAW-developed 1.8 liter turbo engine was added to the line-up later. The Bestune B30 (formerly Besturn B30) is a subcompact sedan produced by the FAW Group under the Bestune brand. Overview The Besturn B30 was launched on the Chinese car market in November 2015 with prices ranging from 72,800 yuan to 92,800 yuan. The Besturn B30 was previewed by a concept car during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show named the Besturn A-Class concept, as in the A-class segment of the Chinese car market equivalent to the B-segment in foreign markets or subcompact cars. Ford CD3 Platform
The Ford CD3 platform (for " C/D-class") is a Ford midsize car automobile platform. It was designed by Mazda. The platform is designed for either front, all-wheel drive or Ford's hybrid powertrain. The platform is based on a unitized welded steel body (monocoque) with an independent short long arms (SLA) double wishbone front suspension with stabilizer bar and an independent multi-link twist blade rear suspension with stabilizer bar. Ford Motor Company uses the CD3 platform design from the Mazda partnership as its first fully "digital" car, allowing the company to cut months of development time, saving money and bringing the vehicles to market more quickly.
