Bertil Bäckvall
Bertil Bäckvall (22 February 1923 – 28 October 2012) was a Swedish footballer and manager. He mostly represented Hammarby IF and AIK, and won two caps for the Sweden national team. Playing career Hammarby IF Born and raised in Stockholm, Bäckvall started to play football with local club Sandsborgs IF as a youngster. In 1939, he made his debut for Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan, Sweden's first tier. Bäckvall played four league games throughout the season, as Hammarby suffered a relegation, and scored a brace in a 7–1 home win against Gårda BK on 2 June 1940, making him one of the youngest ever goalscorers in Allsvenskan, at age 17. Back in Division 2, the Swedish second tier, Hammarby IF finished in the top four for the next six years. Holger Nurmela
Holger "Hogge" Nurmela (28 October 1920 – 1 March 2005) was a Swedish ice hockey, football and bandy player and manager, known for representing Hammarby IF in all three sports. Athletic career Ice hockey In 1937, Nurmela made his debut for Hammarby IF in Elitserien, Sweden's top tier. He won three Swedish championships – 1942, 1943 and 1945 – with the club. He formed a feared line together with right winger Stig Emanuel Andersson and centre Kurt Kjellström. Nurmela was known as a versatile player with great skating abilities: a sniper, playmaker and grinder combined. He won the scoring league in the Swedish top division in both 1949 and 1950. Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. The winners qualify for the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League. The winner is awarded Gustaf VI Adolf Cup. Compared to cups in many other countries, Svenska Cupen attracts considerably less public interest and even the cup final is rarely sold out. Henry Carlsson
Nils Gustav Henry "Garvis" Carlsson (29 October 1917 – 28 May 1999), was a Swedish professional footballer who played as a forward. He represented AIK, Stade Français, and Atletico Madrid during a club career that spanned between 1939 and 1953. A full international between 1941 and 1949, he won 26 caps for the Sweden national team and was part of the Sweden Olympic team that won the gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Sune Isidor "Mona-Lisa" Andersson (22 February 1921 – 29 April 2002) was a Swedish football player and manager. He is best remembered for representing AIK and A.S. Roma during his club career. A full international between 1947 and 1950, he won 28 caps and scored four goals for the Sweden national team. He was part of the Sweden teams that won gold at the 1948 Summer Olympics and finished third at the 1950 FIFA World Cup. Club career Andersason was a versatile midfielder, who would take any position: left, right or center. His only domestic title was the 1949 Svenska Cupen with AIK. Lennart Skoglund
Karl Lennart "Nacka" Skoglund (; 24 December 1929 – 8 July 1975) was a Swedish footballer who played as left winger. He began his career in his home country with Hammarby IF, but later played for several Italian clubs, most notably Inter Milan, with whom he won two Serie A titles over nine years.
