Bert Hadley
Robert C. Hadley (April 12, 1882 – December 30, 1968) was an American stage and early silent film actor who appeared in over sixty motion pictures between 1912 and 1927. Hadley quit acting as he approached middle age to later become a successful Hollywood makeup artist. Biography Robert C. Hadley was born on April 12, 1882, in Walla Walla, Washington; the first child of William and Amanda Hadley. His father, who was born of English parents, hailed from Michigan and supported his family as a farmer and day laborer. He married native Kansan Amanda Goble in or around 1880 and the two went on to raise seven children.Robert C. ''3 Gold Coins'' is a 1920 American silent Western film directed by Clifford Smith and starring Tom Mix. It was produced and distributed by Fox Film Corporation. It is believed to be a lost film. Plot Things are not going well for Bob Fleming. Then, while showing off for Betty Reed and her father (Frank Whitson), he shoots through three gold coins, which Bob keeps as lucky charms. J. M. Ballinger and Rufus Berry arrive in the township of Four Corners and proceed to plant oil on Fleming's property, with plans to sell stock to the townsfolk. Bob is implicated in the scheme and arrested for fraud. In the end, it turns out there really is oil on Fleming's land. ''The Beggar Prince'' is a lost 1920 film directed by William Worthington and produced by Sessue Hayakawa's Haworth Pictures Corporation. Plot An island is ruled by a prince (Sessue Hayakawa) who mistakenly believes he can control the moon and the sea. The prince tries to be with a beautiful girl (Batrice La Plante) who doesn't like him. A fisherman (also played by Sessue Hayakawa) sees the prince harassing the girl and knocks him out and swaps clothes with him and takes over the role as leader of the country.
