Bernard Goumou
Bernard Goumou (born 2 October 1960) is a Guinean politician who serves as the prime minister of Guinea, having been appointed after interim prime minister Mohamed Béavogui became "unavailable due to health reasons". Biography Before entering politics, Goumou served as managing director of Lanala Assurance from 2017. Political career Goumou was appointed as the Minister of Trade, Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises in the transitionary Béavogui government on 27 October 2021. Mamady Doumbouya
Mamady Doumbouya (N'Ko: , born 4 March 1980) is a Guinean military officer serving as the interim president of Guinea since 1 October 2021. Doumbouya led a coup d'état on 5 September 2021 that overthrew the previous president, Alpha Condé. He is a member of the Guinean Special Forces Group and a former French legionnaire. On the day of the coup, Doumbouya issued a broadcast on state television declaring that his faction had dissolved the government and constitution. Mohamed Béavogui (born 15 August 1953 in Porédaka) is a Guinean diplomat and politician, and the former interim prime minister of Guinea from 6 October 2021 to 17 July 2022. Biography Béavogui was born in August 1953 in Porédaka, the son of a diplomat, and the nephew of former Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Diallo Telli. He began studying at Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry in 1972. He then earned a master's degree in engineering from the Kalinin Politechnical Institute in the Soviet Union, and a degree in executive management from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in the United States. From 1982 to 1986, he worked in Nigeria, before being recruited as a consultant by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
