Bernard David Gallagher
Bernard David Gallagher (July 22, 1925 – October 1, 2003) was a farmer and political figure in Saskatchewan, Canada. He represented Yorkton from 1960 to 1971 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Liberal. He was born in Yorkton Yorkton is a city located in south-eastern Saskatchewan, Canada. Yorkton is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It has historically almost always voted for the governing party, selecting an opposition candidate only twice in its history ( 1938 & 1960). Legislative Assembly Of Saskatchewan
The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan is the legislative chamber of the Saskatchewan Legislature in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Bills passed by the assembly are given royal assent by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, in the name of the King in Right of Saskatchewan. The assembly meets at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Regina. There are 61 constituencies in the province, which elect members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to the Legislative Assembly. All are single-member districts, though the cities of Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw were in the past represented through multi-member districts, with members elected through Block Voting. The Saskatchewan Liberal Party is a liberal political party in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The party was the provincial affiliate of the Liberal Party of Canada until 2009. Yorkton is a city located in south-eastern Saskatchewan, Canada. It is about 450 kilometres north-west of Winnipeg and 300 kilometres south-east of Saskatoon and is the sixth largest city in the province. As of 2017 the census population of the city was 19,643.
