Benjamin Anderson (musician)
Benjamin Anderson (born January 28, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona) is an American musician and songwriter. His musical styles range from hard rock and industrial to electronic and Ambient Music. History Anderson was first introduced to music at an early age, singing and traveling in an all-boys choir. In high school he became inspired by artists such as The Cure, The Mission, and U2. This led him to pick up the guitar and later leave college, wandering to Denver, Colorado, where he recorded his first record as lead guitarist with the band Rorschach Test. Rorschach Test later relocated to Seattle, where they were signed to the now defunct, Chicago label, Slipdisc Records (Mercury). They sustained a successful career during Seattle's lively music scene in the 1990s. They toured North America playing shows with the likes of Korn, Type O Negative, Genitorturers, Queensrÿche. Genitorturers
The Genitorturers are an American industrial metal band with influences extending into the 1990s hardcore punk and electronic music. They proclaim themselves to be "The World's Sexiest Rock Band". History Originating in Orlando, Florida, the band was founded by lead singer Jennifer "Gen" Zimmerman while attending Rollins college. Originally called The Festering Genitorturers, the band consisted of Marisa (vocals), Yvonne (guitar), Gen (bass), Larry (guitar) and Mike (drums). Their first performance was at the Ocean Club in Cocoa Beach, Florida, in late 1986. Also on the bill was Declared Ungovernable, Belching Penguins, and The Rhythm Pigs. Pamela Moore is an American singer-songwriter, mixing hard rock, heavy metal, melodic rock and industrial music while her earlier years delved into pop and electronica. She currently resides in Seattle, Washington. History Born and raised in Seattle, Moore was introduced to theater at a young age and developed a passion for performing on stage. She studied with the music program in high school and taught herself how to play steel-string acoustic guitar and piano. Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan (born February 5, 1964), sometimes credited as Duff "Rose" McKagan, is an American musician. He played bass for twelve years in the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. McKagan rejoined the band in 2016, following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mad Season (band)
Mad Season was an American rock supergroup formed in 1994 as a side project of members of other bands in the Seattle grunge scene. The band's principal members included guitarist Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, lead singer Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, drummer Barrett Martin of Screaming Trees, and bassist John Baker Saunders. Mad Season released only one album, '' Above'', in March 1995. Its first single, "River of Deceit", was a radio success, and ''Above'' was certified a gold record by the RIAA in June. The band went on a semi-permanent hiatus in 1996 due to the band members' conflicting schedules and Staley's problems with substance abuse. Screaming Trees
Screaming Trees was an American rock band formed in Ellensburg, Washington, in 1984 by vocalist Mark Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bass player Van Conner, and drummer Mark Pickerel. Pickerel had been replaced by Barrett Martin by the time the band reached its most successful period. Although widely associated with grunge, the band's sound incorporated hard rock and psychedelic elements. The band released seven studio albums, five EPs, and three compilations.
