Bengan Janson
Bengt Åke "Bengan" Jansson (born 23 February 1963, in Stockholm) is a Swedish accordionist. He plays Swedish folk music, Swedish ballads, pop, rock, and jazz, and has performed with artists such as Kalle Moraeus, Anne Sofie von Otter, Björn Skifs, Loa Falkman, and Allan Edwall. Moraeus and Janson form the duo Kalle & Bengan. At the age of eight, Janson started to play the accordion, when his brother tired of the instrument and gave his accordion to Bengan. He moved to Järvsö with his family in 1979, and met the jazz pianist Gösta Svensson who became influential for his musical development. In the late 1980s, he was a member of the band ''Östen med Resten''. Janson and Per Gudmundson received the Grammis award for Folk Music of the Year in 2019, for their album ''Hjeltamôs''. Östen Med Resten
Östen med Resten (sometimes spelt ''Östen mä Resten'') is a Swedish music group from Hälsingland. It was formed in 1985. The original members were Östen Eriksson, Jens Kristensen and Nisse Damberg. The name, which literally means "Östen with the rest", was coined by Lasse Berghagen in 1986, when the band was to perform in Järvsö together with the singer Lill-Babs. It is a pun on "Östen med Rösten" (Östen with the voice), which was the sobriquet of Östen Warnerbring. Jan Lundgren
Jan Lundgren, born on 22 March 1966 in Olofström, Blekinge, and resident in Ystad since 2005, is an internationally active Swedish jazz musician. He is a pianist, composer, and senior lecturer at the Malmö Academy of Music, where he has taught since autumn 1991, as well as the Artistic Director of the Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival, Ystad Winter Piano Fest and Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen. Jan Lundgren is a Steinway Artist and has won many awards. He tours internationally and is signed to the German record label, ACT. Leksand
Leksand () is a locality and the seat of Leksand Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 5,934 inhabitants in 2010. Sport Leksand is famous for the Leksands IF ice hockey team, who have won 4 Swedish Championships, although the team is currently facing problems in performance when playing and they have received less funds. Leksand is also home to the Leksands Baseball and Softball Club, the oldest and one of the more successful baseball clubs in Sweden, having won 20 national championships in baseball and 7 in softball.
