Recognized as one of the best among the polytechnic colleges of West Bengal the institute mainly offers diploma level courses in the fields of Automobile Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology. Katwa is a sub-divisional town and railway junction in Purba Bardhaman district of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the headquarters of the Katwa subdivision.
