Ben Whitehouse
Ben Whitehouse (born 9 August 1990) is a Welsh rugby union referee. He is currently one of five professional referees at the Welsh Rugby Union, alongside Craig Evans and Adam Jones. Career Whitehouse started refereeing at the age of 19, during the 2009/10 European season. Since then, Whitehouse has come through the ranks at the Welsh Rugby Union, refereeing at the Union' top level the Principality Premiership. He was part of the Welsh Rugby Union referees academy in 2013, where in February 2014, he was selected for the 2014 IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy tournament in Hong Kong, which saw him referee the final between Tonga U20 and Japan U20. Later that year, he appeared in his first British and Irish Cup, and was selected by the four home unions to officiate the final between Leinster A and Leeds Carnegie. Tonga National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Tonga national under-20 rugby union team competes in the IRB Junior World Championship since its inception in 2008. It replaced the former under 19 and 21 world championships. Edinburgh Rugby
Edinburgh Rugby (formerly Edinburgh Reivers, Edinburgh Gunners) is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays most of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium. The original Edinburgh District team played the first ever inter-district match against Glasgow District in 1872, winning the match 3–0. The France under 20 rugby team are the newest representative rugby union team from France. They replace the two former age grade teams Under 19s and Under 21s. Their first tournament was the 2008 Six Nations U20 Championship, where they finished 3rd with three wins (over Scotland, Ireland and Italy) and two losses (to England and Wales). World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The World Rugby Under 20 Championship (known as the IRB Junior World Championship until 2014) is an international rugby union competition. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, World Rugby, and is contested by 12 men's junior national teams with an under-20 age requirement. This event replaced the IRB's former age-grade world championships, the Under 19 and Under 21 World Championships. The inaugural tournament was held in June 2008, hosted by Wales and with 16 teams participating. Wales was announced as host for the inaugural tournament in November 2007. The number of participating nations was reduced to 12 before the 2010 tournament due to financial reasons. Rugby has been played in Sweden since 1933, the first full international being played in 1949 against Denmark. The country celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2008. Sweden has been a member union of World Rugby since 1988 and is one of the 48 members of Rugby Europe. Belgium National Rugby Union Team
The Belgium national rugby union team (french: Équipe nationale de Belgique de Rugby de XV) (German: Belgische Rugby-Nationalmannschaft) represents Belgium in men's international rugby union competitions, nicknamed Diables Noirs / Zwarte Duivels (''Black Devils''). The 2014–15 Pro12 (also known as the ''Guinness Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, and the fifth with its current four-country format. It was the first season to be referred to as the ''Pro12'' to not have RaboDirect as the title sponsor, having been replaced by Guinness. Leinster were the defending champions having beaten Glasgow Warriors in the previous season's playoff final, to become the first team in the league to successfully retain the trophy. Connacht Rugby ( ga, Rugbaí Connachta) is one of the four professional provincial rugby teams from the island of Ireland. Connacht competes in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup.
