Ben Schwarze
Ben Schwarze (born 24 August 1983) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for North Melbourne. He is the brother of Troy Schwarze. He was originally Rookie listed from the Sandringham Dragons by St Kilda in the 2002 Rookie Draft, remaining on the Saints list for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. After being delisted by the Saints, Schwarze spent the 2004 season playing with Port Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) before being drafted by the Kangaroos with selection 68 of the 2004 AFL Draft. He made his debut against the Adelaide Crows in Round 7, 2006 at the Telstra Dome. He broke his ribs in that game and was sidelined for four weeks. He returned and became a regular for the remainder of the season. Sandringham Dragons
The Sandringham Dragons are an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based at the Trevor Barker Oval in Sandringham, Victoria, representing the southern suburban area of Melbourne. The Dragons were one of the founding metropolitan clubs of the competition in 1992 as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. The club was originally named the ''Central Dragons'' and played out of Toorak Oval in Prahran, Victoria. In 1995 the name of the club was changed to ''Prahran Dragons'' as part of the agreement which saw the Prahran Two Blues exit the senior Victorian Football League. Docklands Stadium, also currently known by naming rights sponsorship as Marvel Stadium, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in the Docklands area of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. North Adelaide Football Club, nicknamed The Roosters, is an Australian rules football club affiliated with the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and SANFL Women's League (SANFLW). The club plays its home games at Prospect Oval, located in Prospect, a northern suburb of Adelaide. Woodville-West Torrens Football Club is an Australian rules football club playing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). It was formed in 1990 from an amalgamation of the neighbouring Woodville and West Torrens football clubs and played its inaugural game in 1991. The 2001 AFL draft consisted of a state draft, a body draft, a pre-season draft and a trade period. The AFL draft is the annual draft of players by Australian rules football teams that participate in the main competition of that sport, the Australian Football League (AFL).
