Ben Risinger
Benjamin Risinger, (born 25 November 1977 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian professional baseball player. Early Career Risinger played for the Australian entry that won Bronze at the 1995 World Junior Baseball Championship. He made his professional debut in the 1995–1996 Australian Baseball League, hitting .265/.321/.286 as a backup infielder for the Perth Heat. The next year he went 0 for 15 with 4 walks for Perth. In the 1997–1998 season, the right-handed batter batted .244/.351/.358 for the Melbourne Monarchs. Risinger was 9 for 25 with 6 walks, 2 doubles and a home run in the 2000–2001 International Baseball League of Australia season. Paul Gonzalez
Paul Gonzalez (born April 22, 1969) is an American baseball executive and former professional player. Currently the general manager of the Brisbane Bandits, he played professional baseball in the United States, Japan, Italy and Australia, and won a silver medal with the Australia national baseball team at the 2004 Olympics. Mark Merila (born November 9, 1971) is a scout for the San Diego Padres and a former professional baseball player. Amateur career Merila was born in Litchfield, Minnesota, and attended University of Minnesota. While with the University of Minnesota, he played on the school's baseball team, and was named the Big Ten Conference Baseball Freshman of the Year in 1991 and Big Ten Conference Baseball Player of the Year in 1994. In 1992, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Northern League (baseball, 1993–2010)
The Northern League was an independent minor professional baseball league. It was not affiliated with Major League Baseball or the organized minor leagues. The league was founded in 1993 and folded after its 2010 season when financial stability became a problem. Carlos José Quentin (born August 28, 1982) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox and San Diego Padres. In 2008 and 2011, Quentin was selected as an All-Star. Pacific Coast League
The Pacific Coast League (PCL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Western United States. Along with the International League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The PCL was one of the premier regional baseball leagues in the first half of the 20th century.
