Ben Hart
Benjamin Hart (born 9 July 1974) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League. He was an assistant coach with the Collingwood Football Club from 2012 to 2016. Early career Ben Hart made his debut in the SANFL for North Adelaide in a semi final in 1990 at 16 years of age, he went on to combine his college commitments with those of the North Adelaide Roosters until he was selected by the Crows in 1992. In 1992, Hart made his debut in the Adelaide Crows side direct from the 1st XVIII Rostrevor College team, and made an immediate impact as a defender, playing all 22 games (and booting 3 goals). The then 18-year-old Hart won All-Australian selection that year and repeated that feat in 1993. Records In early 2005, Hart passed the Adelaide games record, overtaking Nigel Smart with 279 games. The 1997 AFL season was the 101st season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season ran from 27 March until 27 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. Before the season, the Port Adelaide Football Club (SANFL) was admitted to the league, increasing the South Australian membership to two clubs. The 1992 AFL season was the 96th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured fifteen clubs, ran from 21 March until 26 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top six clubs. Trent Hentschel
Trent Hentschel (born 25 December 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was taken in the 2002 Pre-Season Draft with pick 5, and currently serves as the defence development coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club. Playing career 2003–2004 Debuting for Adelaide in 2003 as a 20-year-old, Hentschel took his time to adapt to the speed of AFL football. He played just three games in the 2003 season, failing to register a kick in his first game (finishing only with one handball). Rhett Biglands
Rhett Biglands (born 4 September 1977) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Career He made his debut as an 18-year-old in the SANFL with Woodville West Torrens kicking 5 goals in his first match. He was then drafted by Port Adelaide Power and placed on their inaugural list in 1997. After two groin reconstructions in the one year he returned to the SANFL. In the 1999 season he was equal 3rd in the Magarey Medal, played for South Australia against Victoria on the MCG and made The Advertiser SANFL team of the Year.
