Ben Ellwood
Ben Ellwood (born 12 March 1976) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Career An outstanding junior, Ellwood won the boys' singles at the 1994 Australian Open, defeating Andrew Ilie in the final. He was the boys' doubles champion as well (with Mark Philippoussis) and also went on to win the boys' doubles at the 1994 Wimbledon Championships and 1994 US Open (with Philippousssis and Nicolás Lapentti, respectively). This made Ellwood the first ever player to win the boys' doubles at the Australian Open, Wimbledon Championships and US Open in the same year. Ellwood made his Grand Slam debut in the 1995 Australian Open and came close to upsetting world number 46 Fabrice Santoro in the opening round. He lost the encounter in five sets, but had a chance to win the match in a fourth set tiebreak, which the Frenchman won 9–7. Olivier Delaître
Olivier Delaître (born 1 June 1967) is a former professional tennis player from France. He was semifinalist at the Wimbledon Championships in 1999 in doubles (partnering Fabrice Santoro), and reached the fourth round of the 1994 French Open and 1995 Australian Open in singles. Career Delaitre turned professional in 1986. In singles, he reached four ATP-tour finals, and achieved a career-high ranking of 33 in February 1995. In doubles, he won 15 titles during his career and reached a career-high ranking of 3 in July 1999. In 1998, he won four doubles titles with Fabrice Santoro and together they qualified for the end-of-year ATP Finals, where they reached the semifinals. The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". Nicolás Alexander Lapentti Gómez (; born 13 August 1976) is a former professional tennis player from Ecuador. His brothers, Giovanni Lapentti, Giovanni and Leonardo, uncle Andrés Gómez, Andrés, and cousins Roberto Quiroz, Roberto and Emilio Gómez (tennis), Emilio also are or were on the pro circuit.
