Muhammad Bello Aliyu Yabo popularly known as Bello Yabo. (born 1 January 1962), is a Nigerian Islamic scholar and cleric from Yabo local government in Sokoto state, Nigeria. Sheikh Yabo criticises Muhammad Buhari administration for insecurity in Northern Nigeria, (Northwest) particularly in Zamfara Zamfara (Hausa: Jihar Zamfara Fula: Leydi Zamfara 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤶𞤢𞤥𞤬𞤢𞤪𞤢) is a state in northwestern Nigeria. Sokoto is a major city located in extreme northwestern Nigeria, near the confluence of the Sokoto River and the Rima River. As of 2006 it has a population of over 427,760. Izala Society or ''Jama'atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah'' (Society of Removal of Innovation and Re-establishment of the Sunnah), also called JIBWIS, is a Salafi movement originally established in Northern Nigeria to fight what it sees as the ''bid'ah'' (innovation) practiced by the Sufi brotherhoods. It is one of the largest Sunni societies in Nigeria, Chad, Ghana, Niger, and Cameroon. The Nigeria Police Force is the principal law enforcement and the lead security agency in Nigeria.
