Belgacom Fund
The Belgacom Fund, is a Belgian fund created within the King Baudouin Foundation in 1999 for a period of three years, which promotes dialogue between citizens and local authorities. The fund provided financial support to either local authorities or those of Social Services in Wallonia, Flanders, and in Brussels (region) that improve the dialogue between the Belgian citizen and local authorities. King Baudouin Foundation
The King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) ( nl, Koning Boudewijnstichting, KBS; french: Fondation Roi-Baudouin) is an independent, pluralistic foundation based in Brussels (Belgium). It seeks to change society for the better and invests in inspiring projects and individuals. The Foundation was set up in 1976, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of King Baudouin's reign and has been under the honorary Presidency of Queen Mathilde since 2015. The Foundation supports projects in Belgium and at the European and international level. To support its international goal, the KBF set up a US public charity and an office in New York City. Prince Albert Fund
The Prince Albert Fund is a Belgian non-profit organization (fund) which provides a scholarship to young Belgian professionals to give them the opportunity to carry out a project for a Belgian company in international business development, outside Europe. The fund is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation and directed by a steering committee consisting of alumni of the Fund and representatives of FEB-VBO, VOKA, UWE and BECI. The scholarship Each year, about 20 to 30 young people are selected out of hundreds of applications through a rigorous selection process in different rounds. The requirements that the Fund sets for candidates are very high; several diplomas (at least a cum laude Master's degree) or work placements abroad are recommended, while the candidate must be able to speak two or three languages fluently. Prince Philippe Fund
The Prince Philippe Fund is a Belgian foundation, which wants to contribute and maintain the dialogue between the different communities of Belgium (Brussels, Flanders, Wallonia). The fund was founded in 1998, as an initiative of Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium, and it operates within the framework of the King Baudouin Foundation. In order to improve the dialogues between the Belgian communities it supports exchanges, meetings and a dialogue between groups of citizens from all three communities in order to stimulate greater mutual recognition, which transcends linguistic barriers (French in Wallonia, Dutch in Flanders, French and Dutch in Brussels, German in the east of Wallonia). The foundation wants to create a climate of respect for the specific features and cultures of all Belgian communities.
