Tulkarm
Tulkarm, Tulkarem or Tull Keram ( ar, طولكرم, ''Ṭūlkarm'') is a Palestinian city in the West Bank, located in the Tulkarm Governorate of the State of Palestine. The Israeli city of Netanya is to the west, and the Palestinian cities of Nablus and Jenin to the east. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, in 2007 Tulkarm had a population of 51,300 while its adjacent refugee camp had a population of 10,641. Tulkarm is under the administration of the Palestinian Authority (as part of Area A). Mohammed Yousef El-Najar Hospital
The Mohammed Yousef El-Najar Hospital ( ar, مستشفى الشهيد أبو يوسف النجار) is a hospital in Rafah, Gaza Strip, Palestine. History The hospital was established in 2000 by transforming the previous center for primary care at the building. On 1 August 2014, the building was attacked by Israel Defense Forces. During the 2023 Gaza economic protests, Hamas authorities launched an arrest campaign after the outbreak of protests, including raiding the hospital to arrest injured protestors seeking treatment at the hospital. Architecture The hospital spans over an area of 4,000 m2. It has a total of 65 beds and it consists of two operating rooms. The emergency department has a total of 9 beds. An-Najah National University ( ar, جامعة النجاح الوطنية) is a Palestinian non-governmental public university governed by a board of trustees. It is located in Nablus, in the northern West Bank. An-Najah National University Hospital is a non-profit teaching hospital and is one of the teaching hospitals in Palestine. An-Najah National University Hospital was established in 2013 in partnership with the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University. It is located in the northwestern mountainous area of Nablus, on the exit to Asira Al Shamaliah. An-Najah National University began building the An-Najah National University Hospital in 2008, and opened its first phase in 2014 with a capacity of 127 beds in an area of 17,000 square meters.
