Beijing–Kunming High-speed Train
The Beijing–Kunming high-speed train () are high-speed train services between Beijing and Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Two pairs of trains are operated daily by CR Beijing and CR Kunming, with train numbers designated as G71/G72, G401/402. With a travelling distance of , the services on this route have the longest distance among the high-speed train services in the world as of 2018. History The high-speed trains between Beijing and Kunming began operations on 1 January 2017, with the completion of the Shanghai–Kunming HSR. The two pairs of trains were both extensions from other services. The former G401/404 trains (Beijing West-) and the former G1566/1565 trains (Beijing West-) were extended to and had their train numbers changed to G403/404 and G405/406 respectively. Fuxing (train)
Fuxing () (also known as the CR series EMU, or as the Fuxing Hao) is a series of high-speed and higher-speed EMU trains operated by China Railway High-speed (CRH) and developed by CRRC, which owns the independent intellectual property rights. Initially known as the China Standardized EMU, development on the project started in 2012, and the design plan was finished in September 2014. The first EMU rolled off the production line on 30 June 2015. The series received its current designation of Fuxing in June 2017, with nicknames such as "Blue/Red Dolphin" (CR400AF) and "Golden Phoenix" (CR400BF) for certain units. G-series Trains
G-series trains () are the fastest train services of China Railway. The trains usually run on dedicated high-speed railways with a designed top speed of . The prefix "G" is pronounced as ''Gao'' in the CR system, which is short for ''Gaosu Dongche'' meaning high-speed EMUs in Chinese. The numbering of G trains are defined by the prefix G followed by a train number. Compared with D-series trains, G-series trains are operated at higher speeds for either part or whole of the journey, and if compared to the D trains sharing the route, may have fewer stops and even overtake these D trains by giving the latter a longer stay at some stations. G trains are also the only type of train that do not permit standees. The CRH380A Hexie (simplified Chinese: 和谐号; traditional Chinese: 和諧號; pinyin: Héxié Hào; literally: "Harmony") is a Chinese electric high-speed train that was developed by CSR Corporation Limited (CSR) and is currently manufactured by CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. As a continuation of the CRH2-380 program it both replaces foreign technology in the CRH2 with Chinese developments and increases its top speed.
