Beijing Suburban Railway
BCR (''Beijing City Rail'') also known as Beijing Suburban Railway is a commuter rail service that connects urban Beijing with outlying districts beyond the reach of the city's Beijing Subway network. The suburban rail services run on existing China Railway lines. The suburban rail services are managed by the China Railway Beijing Group, an agency of the Ministry of Railways that is not affiliated with the operators of Beijing Subway. There are 4 suburban railway corridors currently in operation: Line S2, Sub-Central line, Huairou–Miyun line and Tongmi line. Beijing Benz (officially Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd) is an automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Beijing, China, and a joint venture between BAIC Motor and Mercedes-Benz Group. Yanqing Railway Station
Yanqing railway station () is the terminus of the Yanqing branch of the Line S2 of the Beijing Suburban Railway. Yanqing railway station was used as a freight station since 1983, and in 2003 it closed due to the fall of shipments. In 2008, the station finished its first renovation and resumed passenger services. From 2019, a new station hall began construction for the coming Winter Olympics. Since 1 December 2020, The new station hall as well as Yanqing branch of Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway begin serve the station. Design Yanqing railway station has been expanded for several major events hosted by Yanqing District. Beijing–Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway
The Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, also known as the Jingzhang intercity railway, Jingzhang high speed railway, Jingzhang section of Beijing-Baotou PDL, is a high-speed railway between Beijing and Zhangjiakou in Hebei province, China. The line was opened on 30 December 2019, and is the world's first driverless high speed railway, shortening the traveling time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou from 3 hours 7 minutes to 47 minutes. It forms part of both the Beijing–Lanzhou corridor and the Beijing–Zhangjiakou–Datong–Taiyuan branch of the Beijing–Kunming corridor. The main line has 10 stations. The Chongli Branch has two more stations, Zhaochuan South (reserved station) and Taizicheng. The Yanqing branch has another station, Yanqing railway station. Beijing Northeast Ring Railway
The Beijing Northeast Ring railway (), also known as Shuangqiao–Shahe railway or Shahe railway, is a link railway in Beijing railway hub. The line has a total length of and connects the railway lines in Beijing, including Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, Beijing–Baotou railway, Beijing–Tongliao railway, Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway and Beijing–Harbin railway. History The rail starts at Baiziwan station on the southeast ring railway, crosses the Beijing–Harbin railway and Tonghui river to the north, turns to the west of Wangjing, and connects with the Beijing–Baotou line 27.850 kilometers between Qinghe and Shahe Station, with a total length of 36 kilometer.
