Beijing Street Church
Beijing Street Church ( zh, t=北京街禮拜堂, s=北京街礼拜堂) is a Protestant church located in Dalian, China. It is the former Dalian Lutheran Church ( zh, t=大連路德教堂, s=大连路德教堂, first=t, links=no) and its church building is now a Historical Building Protected by Dalian City. It was recently renamed as Dalian City Cheng-en Church (, literally "Dalian City Receiving Grace Church"), but the local people still call it "Beijing Street Church." Dalian Catholic Church () is a Christian Catholic church located in Dalian, China. It was built in 1926 and is the only Catholic church in Dalian. It is now a Historical Building protected by Dalian City. Holy Cross Church, Wanzhou
Holy Cross Church ( zh, t=聖十字堂, s=圣十字堂, first=t, w=Shêng4-shih2-tzu4 tʽang2, p=Shèngshízì táng) is a Protestant church situated on Tianlong Road in Wanzhou District, Chongqing. It was founded in 1923 by the American Lutheran missionary Rev George Oliver Lillegard (Chinese name: ; 1888–1965). Christianity in China has been present since at least the 3rd century, and it has gained a significant amount of influence during the last 200 years. While Christianity may have existed in China before the 3rd century, evidence of its existence begins to surmount with the attestation of the Syriac-speaking ethnographer Bardesanes at the end of the 2nd century. Presently, verifiable evidence of Christianity's existence in China can only be dated back to the 7th century.
