Xavier Naidoo
Xavier Kurt Naidoo (German: kseːviɐ naɪˈduː born 2 October 1971) is a German soul and R&B singer, songwriter and record producer. He is a founding member of German band Söhne Mannheims, and started two record labels, Beats Around the Bush and Naidoo Records. Naidoo also has a successful solo career. Junge ("Boy") is a song by German rock band ''Die Ärzte''. It is the sixth track and the first single from their 2007 album ''Jazz ist anders''. It debuted on the radio on 31 August 2007. The song is about teenagers experiencing criticism and rejection and being held responsible for everything. A Chinese language version of "Junge" was released on the compilation ''Poptastic Conversation China'' on 1 August 2008. Music video The video for the single, directed by Norbert Heitker, is very graphic and depicts various violent attacks by zombies to town members, while the band ''Die Ärzte'' looks on helplessly from the top of a broadcast van and sings about teenagers ruining their lives. Jan Vetter (born 27 October 1963), better known as Farin Urlaub. (from the German ''Fahr in Urlaub!'', "Go on holiday!"), is a German singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is best known as the guitarist/vocalist for punk rock band Die Ärzte. He has also been a solo artist since 2001, touring with his band, the Farin Urlaub Racing Team. Moses Pelham
Moses Pelham (born 24 February 1971 in Frankfurt) is a German rapper, singer and producer. In 1993, together with Thomas Hofmann in Frankfurt, he started the Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt. Pelham is a member of the German band Glashaus. In 2019, in a lawsuit against the German band Kraftwerk, Pelham lost a groundbreaking in the European Court of Justice for unauthorised sampling. The ruling means that samples which are recognisable infringe copyright law where no permission has been sought from the rightsholder. However, there is no infringement if the sample is unrecognisable. The case was referred back to the German court who gave the final decision. The German court decided that the sample was recognisable, and therefore ultimately, Pelham lost his 20 year legal saga.
