Beaver Dam Lake is a 6,718 acre lake in Dodge County, Wisconsin. The communities of Beaver Dam, South Beaver Dam, Sunset Beach, Beaver Edge, Fox Lake Junction border the lake. The fish present in the lake are Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. The lake is created by a dam located in the City of Beaver Dam at Haskell Street and flows into the Beaver Dam River. There are seven public boat landings and numerous parks along the lake shore. Water from Fox Lake flows through the Mill Creek into Beaver Dam Lake. Islands There are 26 islands in Beaver Dam Lake ranging from 0.1 to 2.8 acres. All of the islands are privately owned. Beaver Dam State Park (Illinois)
Beaver Dam State Park is an Illinois state park on in Macoupin County, Illinois in the United States. The park is southwest of Carlinville, Illinois and is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) as a public place for fishing. The state park centers on the Beaver Dam Lake, an artificial reservoir which was created by a private Carlinville fishing club in the 1890s. The club later became a private resort which catered to visitors who arrived via the adjacent Chicago and Alton Railroad. During the Great Depression, the resort failed. The state of Illinois purchased the lake and some adjacent property in 1947. Additional land purchases have created the present-day Beaver Dam State Park. The IDNR manages Beaver Dam Lake for the fishing of largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and sunfish. Beaver Dam Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in the towns of New Windsor, Blooming Grove, and Cornwall in Orange County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 2,609. The CDP is in eastern Orange County, bordered to the west by the village of Washingtonville and to the south by Salisbury Mills. The community surrounds Beaverdam Lake, which drains south to Moodna Creek at Salisbury Mills. Moodna Creek flows into the Hudson River between New Windsor and Cornwall-on-Hudson. New York State Route 94 forms the southern edge of the CDP. It leads northeast to New Windsor and southwest to Chester. Newburgh is to the northeast, and Middletown is to the west. Beaver Lake Dam
The Beaver Lake Dam, in Admiralty Island National Monument near Angoon, Alaska, is a Civilian Conservation Corps-built structure that was built in 1936. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. It was designed as part of the Admiralty Island Civilian Conservation Corps Canoe Route to raise the level of Beaver Lake by about so that a channel between Beaver Lake and Lake Alexander could be traversed by canoes.
