Beaver is an unincorporated community in Clallam County, Washington, United States on the Olympic Peninsula. The community lies between U.S. Route 101 and Lake Pleasant. Geography Beaver is located at (48.057299, -124.347435), on U.S. Route 101 to the north of Forks, Washington. It is located just to the west of the boundary of the Olympic National Forest, on Lake Pleasant. Beaver is above sea level. A county park with a playground and boat launching facilities is located on Lake Pleasant. It is one of the wettest places in the contiguous U.S. with an annual precipitation value of 121 inches of rain. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. Olympic National Forest is a U.S. National Forest located in Washington, USA. With an area of , it nearly surrounds Olympic National Park and the Olympic Mountain range. Forks, Washington
Forks, also previously known as the unincorporated town of Quillayute, is a city in southwest Clallam County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,335 at the 2020 census. It is named after the forks in the nearby Quillayute, Bogachiel, Calawah, and Sol Duc rivers. For many years, the city's economy was fueled by the local timber industry. Area code 360 is the telephone area code for western Washington state outside metropolitan Seattle. It began service on January 15, 1995. The numbering plan area (NPA), which encompasses all of western Washington outside urban King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties and Bainbridge Island, was previously part of area code 206. Area codes 360 and 334 (Alabama), which began service on the same day, were the first two area codes in the North American Numbering Plan with a middle digit other than 0 or 1.
