Beautiful Nightmare (album)
''Beautiful Nightmare'' is the second studio album by British-Australian recording artist Reece Mastin, released on 19 October 2012, by Sony Music Australia. It is the follow-up to Mastin's self-titled debut album, and his first album to be made up of solely original material. In composing the album, Mastin collaborated with several songwriters and producers, including DNA Songs, Benji Madden, Lindsay Rimes, Damon Sharpe, Louis Biancaniello, Brian Howes and Rune Westberg, among others. ''Beautiful Nightmare'' debuted at number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and number two on the New Zealand Albums Chart. The album was preceded by the lead single " Shut Up & Kiss Me" in April 2012, which debuted at number one on the New Zealand Singles Chart and number two on the ARIA Singles Chart. Reece Mastin
Reece Mastin (born 24 November 1994) is an English-born Australian singer and songwriter who won the third season of ''The X Factor Australia'' in 2011. Mastin subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia. His debut single "Good Night" reached number one in Australia and New Zealand, and became Sony Music Australia's fastest-selling digital single. Mastin's self-titled debut album debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. His second studio album '' Beautiful Nightmare'' (2012) included the hit singles "Shut Up & Kiss Me" and " Shout It Out", the latter became Mastin's second number-one single in Australia. Benji Madden
Benjamin Levi Madden ( né Combs; born March 11, 1979) is an American musician. He is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Good Charlottefor which he has received various awardsas well as pop rock collaboration the Madden Brothers. He formed both of these acts with his identical twin brother, Joel Madden, with whom he was a coach on ''The Voice Australia'' from 2015–2016. Early life Madden was born Benjamin Levi Combs on March 11, 1979, in Waldorf, Maryland, to Robin Madden and Roger Combs. The X Factor (Australia Season 3)
''The X Factor'' was an Australian television reality music competition, based on the original UK series, to find new singing talent; the winner of which received a management contract and a Sony Music Australia recording contract. The third season premiered on the Seven Network on 29 August 2011 and ended on 22 November 2011. The winner was Reece Mastin and his debut single "Good Night" was released after the final. Mastin was mentored throughout by Guy Sebastian, who won as mentor for the first time. There was only a one percent difference in the votes between Mastin and runner-up Andrew Wishart. The season was presented by Luke Jacobz.
