Beatrix Of Burgundy, Dame De Bourbon
Beatrice of Burgundy (1257 – October 1, 1310) was a ruling Lady of Bourbon in 1288-1310 and, through her mother, heiress of all Bourbon estates. She was the daughter of John of Burgundy (son of Hugh IV, Duke of Burgundy) and Agnes of Dampierre, Lady of Bourbon. In 1272 Beatrice married Robert, Count of Clermont and their eldest son Louis I, ''le Boiteux'' became the first Duke of Bourbon. House Of Burgundy
The House of Burgundy () was a cadet branch of the Capetian dynasty, descending from Robert I, Duke of Burgundy, a younger son of King Robert II of France. The House ruled the Duchy of Burgundy from 1032–1361 and achieved the recognized title of King of Portugal. The last member of the House was Philip of Rouvres, who succeeded his grandfather in 1349. Philip died childless in 1361 and the duchy reverted to his liege, who two years later created his son the new duke of Burgundy, thus beginning the ''Younger House of Burgundy''. Raymond Berengar Of Andria
Raymond Berengar of Anjou (between 1279 and 1282–1307) was the count of Andria and possibly Count of Provence and Prince of Piedmont. Raymond Berengar was the fifth son of King Charles II of Naples and Mary of Hungary. He was born in Provence during a brief return of his father to take command of a fleet there. His homeland is evidenced in his Provençal name and the name of his nurse, Adelasia of Aix-en-Provence. He was known to have been born after his brother Robert the Wise and no document of time places him in Naples for many more years. Consequently, he spent his childhood under the guardianship of William de Manoir in the cities of Aix, Sisteron, St Victor, near Marseilles, and Barjols.
