Beartooth is an American hardcore punk band formed by Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. They have been signed to Red Bull Records since 2013. Their debut EP ''Sick (EP), Sick'' was released on July 26, 2013, followed by their debut full-length album ''Disgusting (album), Disgusting'' on June 10, 2014. Their second album ''Aggressive (album), Aggressive'' was released on June 3, 2016. Their third album ''Disease (Beartooth album), Disease'' was released on September 28, 2018. Their fourth album ''Below (album), Below'' was released on June 25, 2021. History Formation and ''Sick'' (2012–2014) Caleb Shomo began writing Beartooth songs while he was still in Attack Attack!. His project was originally called "Noise," but was switched to Beartooth upon realization the name was already taken. The Beartooth Highway is an All-American Road in the western United States on a section of U.S. Route 212 in Montana and Wyoming between Red Lodge and the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It crests at Beartooth Pass in Wyoming at above sea level, and was called "the most beautiful drive in America," by late CBS News correspondent Charles Kuralt. Beartooth Mountain (British Columbia)
Beartooth Mountain is a mountain summit located in British Columbia, Canada. Description Beartooth Mountain is situated east of Powell Lake in the Coast Mountains, in a remote wilderness area that few visit. The spire-like mountain is set northeast of the community of Powell River and northwest of Vancouver. Precipitation runoff from Beartooth drains to Powell Lake, thence Strait of Georgia. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises 1,360 meters (4,462 feet) above Beartooth Creek in two kilometers (1.2 mile). History The mountain was named by Buck Bradburn who lived at the mouth of Siwash Creek, across Powell Lake. The landform's toponym was officially adopted April 6, 1950, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada. The Beartooth Mountains are located in south central Montana and northwest Wyoming, U.S. and are part of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, within Custer, Gallatin and Shoshone National Forests. The Beartooths are the location of Granite Peak, which at is the highest point in the state of Montana. KTVH-DT (channel 12) is a television station in Helena, Montana, United States, affiliated with NBC and The CW Plus. It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside CBS affiliate KXLH-LD (channel 9). Both stations share studios on West Lyndale Avenue in Helena, while KTVH-DT's transmitter is located on Hogback Mountain. KTVH-DT operates low-power translator KTGF-LD (channel 50) in Great Falls, where Scripps also owns CBS affiliate KRTV. The only full-service commercial TV station serving Montana's capital city for most of its history, channel 12 came to air in 1958 as KXLJ-TV and struggled through a fight with a competing local cable company, during which it shut down for six months before eventually being purchased by the firm.
