Bazm E Tariq Aziz
''Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz'' (formerly ''Neelam Ghar'' and ''Tariq Aziz Show'') was a quiz-format game show hosted by Tariq Aziz on PTV which started in 1975 and lasted for many years. It was renamed as ''Tariq Aziz Show'' in 1997 and in 2006 took the name ''Bazm E Tariq Aziz''. The show celebrated its fortieth anniversary in October 2010. In February 2012, it celebrated its 300th episode. It was the oldest television show in Pakistan. Inaam Ghar Plus ( ur, انعام گھر, English ''The Awards House'') was a Geo Entertainment's presented television game show in Pakistan. It is based in Karachi and was hosted by Aamir Liaquat Hussain. The show returned on 13 February 2015 on Geo TV as part of Liaquat's return to the network. Production After the success of Amaan Ramazan at Geo TV, channel announced on 17 January 2014 that registration has opened and will be done through SMS and the show will air two days a week. It will be aired live at Geo TV on Saturday and Thursday at 7:30 PM for three hours. The first episode of the show was aired on 18 January 2014. Jeeto Pakistan's participants are selected randomly from a studio audience, who require passes to attend the show. Tariq Aziz (Punjabi, ur, طارق عزیز; 28 April 1936 – 17 June 2020) was a Pakistani television host, poet and film actor, known for PTV's quiz show ''Neelam Ghar'', first aired in 1974, later renamed the ''Tariq Aziz Show'' and lately as '' Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz''. He was known for his iconic line " Dekhti Aankhon,Sunte Kaanon Tariq Aziz ka Salam". He was the first face to appear on television in Pakistan. He had also been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1997 and 1999. Early life Tariq Aziz was born in 1936 to Punjabi Arain family, in Jalandhar, Punjab, British India. His father's name was Mian Abdul Aziz. He received his early education in Jalandhar and in 1947 migrated to the then Montgomery city now Sahiwal, Pakistan.
