The Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre was a privately funded public policy think tank in Hong Kong. The organisation stated that its aim was "to promote the understanding of the 'one country, two systems' arrangements in Hong Kong and other socioeconomic policies in Hong Kong, for public benefit." The Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre emerged as a leading advocate of policy to the administration of Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang. Admiralty, Hong Kong
Admiralty is the eastern extension of the central business district (adjacent to, but separate from, Central) on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong. It is located on the eastern end of the Central and Western District, bordered by Wan Chai to the east and Victoria Harbour to the north. The name of ''Admiralty'' refers to the former Admiralty Dock in the area which housed a naval dockyard. Zandra Mok Yee-tuen ( ; born 23 August 1970) is one of the first political assistants appointed by the Government of Hong Kong in 2008. She was re-appointed as the political assistant to the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, to assume office on 13 November 2012. Education Mok studied at Tak Nga Primary School and Heep Yunn School. Norman Chan
Norman Chan Tak-lam, GBS, JP (born 1954), is a Hong Kong banker, treasury official, and civil servant. Chan was Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority from 2009 to 2019. He previously served as Director of the Office of the Chief Executive of the HKSAR and Regional Vice-Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank. Career Norman Chan graduated from Queen's College, Hong Kong, and then earned a degree in sociology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 1976 Chan entered the Hong Kong Civil Service as an Administrative Officer. By 1991 he was appointed a Deputy Director of Monetary Management at the Exchange Fund of Hong Kong. David Michael Webb
David Michael Webb (born 29 August 1965) is an activist investor, share market analyst and retired investment banker based in Hong Kong. Early life Webb graduated in Mathematics from Exeter College, Oxford in 1986. From 1981 to 1986 he was also an author of books and games for early home computers, particularly the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. He authored the Pac Man type game Spookyman and went on to create the acclaimed 3D Vector graphics game Starion on the Spectrum. After graduation he became an investment banker in London. He moved to Hong Kong in 1991.
