Elmer Albert Batters (November 24, 1919 – June 25, 1997) was a pioneer fetish photographer who specialized in capturing artful images of women with an emphasis on stockings, legs, and feet, placing him ahead of his time in popularizing foot fetishism imagery as erotic entertainment. Early life Batters was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He enlisted in the United States Navy on December 27, 1941 from Los Angeles, California. Jeff Batters
Jeffrey William Batters (October 23, 1970 – August 23, 1996) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 16 games in the National Hockey League in two seasons with the St. Louis Blues, from 1993 until 1995. Also played for the Kansas City Blades in the IHL. Batters attended high school at the Athol Murry College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan where he played for the Notre Dame "Hounds". His midget AAA hockey team took 2nd place in the Air Canada Cup (the national midget AAA finals)in 1987. His high school teammates included future NHLers Rod Brind'Amour and Scott Pellerin (the 1992 Hobey Baker winner). Batters signed as a free agent with the San Jose Sharks in September 1995. He spent the entire 1995–96 season with the Kansas City Blades where he amassed 223 penalty minutes in 77 games. In baseball, batting is the act of facing the opposing pitcher and trying to produce offense for one's team. A batter or hitter is a person whose turn it is to face the pitcher. The three main goals of batters are to become a baserunner, to drive runners home or to advance runners along the bases for others to drive home, but the techniques and strategies they use to do so vary. Denise Leanne Batters (born June 18, 1970) is a Canadian politician who has served as a senator from Saskatchewan since January 25, 2013. She was briefly ousted from the national Conservative Party of Canada caucus from November 2021 to February 2022, after criticizing then-leader Erin O'Toole, but remained a member of the Senate Conservative Caucus. Early life and education Born in Regina, Batters received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Regina in 1991. In 1994, she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan and was admitted to the bar in 1995. Legal career Batters was in private practice until 2007 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2008. From 2007 to 2012, she served as the Chief of Staff to Saskatchewan Minister of Justice Don Morgan.
