Batakara
Batakara is a town and Union Council of Swabi District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 34°2'0N 72°36'0E with an altitude of 323 metres (1062 feet). The city was known as ''Bee-rai'' around four or five centuries ago. There once were British residents in the town, and it has also been home to various tribes. Later the name was changed from Bee-rai to Batakara. It is near the Tarbela Dam on the Indus River, as well as desert and many green farms. Batakara was once renowned for fishing, and the special fish ''malah'' was known throughout the region. Swabi District
Swabi District ( ps, سوابۍ ولسوالۍ, ur, ) is a district in the Mardan Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It lies between the Indus and Kabul Rivers. Before becoming a district in 1988, it was a tehsil within the Mardan District. % of the population speaks Pashto as their first language. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 1,625,477, of which 815,828 were males and 809,550 females. Rural population was 1,349,513 (83.02%) while the urban population was 275,964 (16.98%). Tarbela Dam
Tarbela Dam (, ) is an earth-filled dam along the Indus River in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Located mainly in the Swabi district of the province, The dam is about from the city of Swabi, northwest of Islamabad, and east of Peshawar. It is the largest earth-filled dam in the world. The dam is high above the riverbed and its reservoir, Tarbela Lake, has a surface area of approximately . The Tarbela Dam is built on the Indus at Bara near the village of Tarbela. It is about 30km from the town of Attock. When the Indus leaves the Himalayans foothills and enters the Potwar pleateau, the water is stored in the reservoir of the dam. Mukkha is the an archery sport. The game is played with a long arrow (''ghashay'') and a long bow (''leenda''). The arrow has a saucer shaped metallic plate (''tubray'') at its distal end. The archers play in teams and attempt to hit a small white wooden target called ''takai'' surrounded by a circular ring called ''kwaara''. The target is secured in fresh clay placed at some height a few meters away from the archer. Rules The game is played with a long arrow (''ghashay'') and a long bow (''leenda'').
