Bastion (comics)
Bastion is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Scott Lobdell and Pascual Ferry and first made a cameo appearance in ''X-Men'' #52 (May 1996) while his first full appearance was in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #333 (June 1996). Fictional character biography Operation: Zero Tolerance Bastion is a mysterious man named Sebastion Gilberti who had risen to power in a relatively short time in the U.S. Government and began assembling the international anti-mutant strike force Operation: Zero Tolerance (OZT). X-Force
X-Force is a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Conceived by writer/illustrator Rob Liefeld, the team first appeared in ''New Mutants#New Mutants Vol. 1, New Mutants'' #100 (April 1991) and soon afterwards was featured in its own series called ''X-Force (comic book), X-Force''. The group was originally a revamped version of the 1980s team, the New Mutants. X-Force's first leader was the Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant Cable (comics), Cable. An offshoot of the X-Men, X-Force takes a more Militant (word), militant and aggressive approach towards its enemies compared to the X-Men. An alternate incarnation of X-Force appears in the 2018 film ''Deadpool 2'' as part of the X-Men (film series), ''X-Men'' film series. Supervillain
A supervillain or supercriminal is a variant of the villainous stock character that is commonly found in American comic books, usually possessing superhuman abilities. A supervillain is the antithesis of a superhero. Supervillains are often used as foils to present a daunting challenge to a superhero. In instances where the supervillain does not have superhuman, mystical, or alien powers, the supervillain may possess a genius intellect or a skill set that allows them to draft complex schemes or commit crimes in a way normal humans cannot. Other traits may include megalomania and possession of considerable resources to further their aims. Prime Sentinel
Prime Sentinels are an advanced type of Sentinel which exist in Marvel Comics. They are a human/machine hybrid that uses nanotechnology from the " Days of Future Past" alternate future. Creation The Prime Sentinels were created when Bastion initiated the Operation: Zero Tolerance program. These Sentinels were actually humans who had been fitted with cybernetic nanotech implants which, upon activation, transformed the humans into armored beings with powerful weapons systems. These altered humans were set up as sleeper agents, unaware of their natures until a signal from the Operation: Zero Tolerance base activated their programming. These Sentinels were used by Bastion to capture Professor X for his own purposes, as well as attack various mutants associated with the X-Men across the country. Jubilee (comics)
Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, the character first appeared in ''Uncanny X-Men'' #244 (May 1989). Jubilee is a member of the human subspecies known as mutants, born with superhuman abilities. She can generate pyrotechnic energy blasts from her hands. Graydon Creed is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Scott Lobdell and artist Brandon Peterson and first appeared in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #299 (April 1993). He is the " baseline human" son of Sabretooth and Mystique. Fictional character biography Posing as German spy Leni Zauber, Mystique seduced freelance assassin Victor Creed (Sabretooth) while he was in Germany on a mission. The X-Mansion or Xavier Institute is the common name for a mansion and research institute appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The mansion is depicted as the private estate of Charles Francis Xavier, a character in X-Men comics. It serves as the base of operations and training site of the X-Men. It is also the location of an accredited private school for mutant children, teenagers, and sometimes older aged mutants, the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, formerly the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. Onslaught is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Onslaught was written as a sentient psionic entity created from the consciousness of two mutants: Professor X, Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto (Marvel Comics), Magneto. During a battle between the X-Men and Magneto's Acolytes (comics), Acolytes, Professor Xavier used his Telepathy, telepathic powers to shut down Magneto's mind, rendering him catatonic. It was explained through the Onslaught crossover series that the darkest aspect of Magneto's mind escaped into Xavier's subconscious, where it "merged" with Xavier's own darker nature to eventually grow into a separate persona of its own.
