''Bass Generation'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish musician Basshunter. It was first released on 28 September 2009, a week after the album's lead single " Every Morning". The album reached No. 2 in New Zealand and No. 7 in South Africa. Background In early 2009, Basshunter started the process of recording the album. A comment was posted on his official website in April that he was "back in the studio to do some work on the new album." Jonas Erik Altberg (; born 22 December 1984), known professionally as Basshunter, is a Swedish singer, record producer, songwriter and DJ. Basshunter has recorded five studio albums: ''The Bassmachine'' (2004), ''LOL'' (2006), ''Now You're Gone – The Album'' (2008), '' Bass Generation'' (2009), and ''Calling Time'' (2013). In addition to his own music, he has written for El Capon, Mange Makers, and Lana Scolaro. He has taken part in the seventh series of the British reality television show '' Celebrity Big Brother'', episodes of the Swedish game show '' Fångarna på fortet'', and an episode of the British television quiz show ''Weakest Link''. NX Newcastle, formerly known as the O2 Academy Newcastle, is a music venue in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It opened in the former Majestic Ballroom building on 14 October 2005 as the Carling Academy, and was renamed for Telefónica Europe's O2 mobile network brand in 2008. The venue was managed by Academy Music Group until early 2022, when Electric Group took over the operation of the site. The Music Hall is a concert hall in Aberdeen, Scotland, formerly the city's Assembly Rooms, located on Union Street in the city centre.
