Baskets Bonn
Telekom Baskets Bonn, also known as Baskets Bonn, is a German professional basketball club that is based in Bonn, Germany. The club plays in the Basketball Bundesliga, which is the highest level pro basketball league in Germany. The club's sponsor is the German company, Deutsche Telekom, a major telephone and internet company, which also sells mobile phones (T-Mobile) in the United States. The club's home arena is the Telekom Dome. The Baskets reached the German League Final Four nine times in 17 years of league affiliation, and belong to Germany's most successful teams. Bonn reached the league finals five times, in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2008, and 2009, albeit coming up short on each occasion. Michael Koch (born January 13, 1966) is a German professional basketball coach and a retired professional player. He is the head coach of AEL Limassol of the Cyprus Basketball Division A. Prior to his stint in Bayreuth, he was the head coach of Telekom Baskets Bonn from 2005 to 2013. Playing career Koch played in Germany for MTV 1846 Giessen, Steiner Bayreuth, and TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen. As a player of Bayreuth he won the German League championship (1989) and 2 German Cups (1988, 1989). Playing for Leverkusen Koch won 5 German League championships (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996) and 2 German cups (1993, 1995). He was the German League MVP in 1995. In 1996, he moved to Panathinaikos. Tony Gaffney
Anthony Joseph Gaffney, Jr. (born November 14, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player who most recently played for Ironi Nahariya of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israeli Premier League. He played college basketball at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Massachusetts. Benas Veikalas (born 24 September 1983) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player. He can play both guard positions, but prefers the shooting guard position. Christopher William Ensminger (born December 8, 1973) is an American professional basketball coach and former professional basketball player.
