Winnipeg Arena
Winnipeg Arena was an indoor arena located in the Polo Park district of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The arena was the city's premier ice hockey venue from 1955 to 2004 and is best remembered as the home of the first Winnipeg Jets franchise, which played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) from 1972 to 1979 and the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1979 to 1996. It was also home to junior and minor league teams such as the Manitoba Moose (1996–2004) and Winnipeg Warriors (1955–1961). The arena closed after the completion of the MTS Centre in November 2004 and was later demolished. A retail and commercial complex occupies the site today. Aylton Tesch
Aylton is a village in eastern Herefordshire, England. It is west of Ledbury. The population of this parish at the 2011 Census was 144. Aylton has a church and shares parish boundaries with Pixley, Putley and Little Marcle. History There has been a settlement here since at least Saxon times. The name Aylton is derived from name of the Anglo Saxon female leader of the settlement, Aethelgifu, and is therefore a rare survivor of its gender from that time. In the Domesday Book it is referred to simply as "Marcle" so at that time the parish may have been the "middle" Marcle between Little Marcle and Much Marcle. It is only by a fortuitous manuscript note made in the margin of a 12th-century transcription that we are able to make the link to Aylton. From the Domesday Book we learn that the parish was then held by Turstin Fitzrolf, and before the Norman Conquest was held by Turstig from Earl Harold. Martín Darío Leiva (born 23 April 1980) is an Argentine professional basketball player who plays for Boca Juniors of the Liga Nacional de Básquet and BCL Americas. He is 2.10 m (6 ft 11 in) tall, and he plays at the center position. Professional career Leiva debuted in the LNB (Argentine 1st Division) on 12 October 1997, playing for Ferro Carril Oeste, against Independiente de General Pico. He played four seasons with Ferro, and then 6 with Boca Juniors in the top division. With Boca, he won the 2003–04 and 2006–07 seasons of the LNB. Walter Herrmann Heinrich (born June 26, 1979) is an Argentine former professional basketball player. He is listed at 6'9" and 225 lbs. He was a key member of the senior men's Argentine national basketball team that won the gold medal during the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
