Bashir Ahmad ( ur, بشیر احمد), (born October 12, 1982) is a Pakistani-American professional mixed martial artist who is known as the "God-father of Mixed Martial Arts Pakistan". He is famous for being the pioneer of mixed martial arts in Pakistan. He is currently signed with ONE Championship. Background Bashir Ahmad was born in the city of Faisalabad in Punjab, Pakistan, but moved to Great Falls, Virginia, United States, with his parents when he was three years old. In 2002, he pursued a career in the U.S. military, joining the Virginia National Guard. In 2004, he was deployed to Iraq when the war broke out. Bashir Abdi
Bashir Abdi (born 10 February 1989) is a Somali-born Belgian athlete who specializes in long-distance running. He won bronze medals in the marathon at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2022 World Championships. In doing so, Abdi became both the first ever Belgian world championship medal winner at the marathon and the first Belgian male athlete to win an individual medal at both the Olympic Games and World Athletics Championships. He was also the silver medalist in the 10,000 metres at the 2018 European Championships. Basheer Ahmad Khan Matta ( ps, بشیر احمد خان مټه; ur, بشیر احمد خان مٹہ) is a Pashtun nationalist politician and historian who is a senior leader of the National Democratic Movement (NDM). He is a supporter of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), and was formerly a member of the Senate of Pakistan. Matta has formerly served as the chairman of the organizing committee and foreign affairs committee of the Awami National Party (ANP). Abu Ahmad Abdallah ibn al-Mustansir Billah (; 1213 – 20 February 1258), better known by his regnal name al-Musta'sim Billah ( ar, المستعصم بالله, al-Mustaʿṣim billāh, label=none) was the 37th and last caliph of the Abbasid dynasty, ruling from 1242 until his death in 1258. He was the last caliph to rule from Baghdad. Biography Abu Ahmad Abdallah al-Musta'sim was son of penultimate Abbasid caliph al-Mustansir, and his mother was Hajir. He was born in 1213. After the death of his father, al-Musta'sim succeeded to the throne in late 1242. He is noted for his opposition to the rise of Shajar al-Durr to the Egyptian throne during the Seventh Crusade. He sent a message from Baghdad to the Mamluks in Egypt that said: "If you do not have men there tell us so we can send you men." Abbasid Dynasty
The Abbasid dynasty or Abbasids ( ar, بنو العباس, Banu al-ʿAbbās) were an Arab dynasty that ruled the Abbasid Caliphate between 750 and 1258. They were from the Qurayshi Hashimid clan of Banu Abbas, descended from Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib. The Abbasid Caliphate is divided into three main periods: Early Abbasid era (750–861), Middle Abbasid era (861–936) and Later Abbasid era (936–1258). A cadet branch of the dynasty also ruled as ceremonial rulers for the Mamluk Sultanate as Caliph (1261–1517), until their conquest by the Ottoman Empire. Bab Bachir ( ar, باب بشير) (died 1254) was a slave consort of the last Abbasid caliph, al-Musta'sim (r. 1242–1258) and mother of Abu Nasr Muhammad ibn al-Musta'sim. Bachir Yellès (; 12 September 1921 – 16 August 2022) was an Algerian painter. Life and career Yellès was born in Tlemcen on 12 September 1921.Bloom and Blair, p50 "Bachir Yelles (b. 1921) and Muhammad Bouzid (b. 1929) explored Cubism, Fauvism and Expressionism while maintaining local themes." He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Algiers, then the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris. He served as a director of the ''École supérieur des Beaux Arts d'Alger'' of Algiers, between the years 1960 and 1980. In his works, he continued using local themes but also experimented with Cubism, Expressionism, and Fauvism. Yellès turned 100 in September 2021. He died in Algiers on 16 August 2022. Bashir Qamari ( ar, بشير القمري; 10 January 1951 – 24 June 2021) was a Moroccan literary critic, novelist and playwright. Biography Qamari was born in Nador in 1951. He studied Arabic literature at the Mohammed V University in Rabat (1975 MA, 1987 PhD).
