Baruch Maman
Baruch Maman ( he, ברוך ממן) (born 1955) is an Israeli former footballer. He is considered one of the best players to emerge from the ranks of the youth team of Maccabi Haifa. Biography He was born in Safed to a Tunisian-Jewish family, they moved to Haifa when he was three. Sports career Joining the youth ranks at Maccabi Haifa at the age of 14, he enjoyed reasonable success on the Under-21 side scoring 12 goals in six matches. Before his draft into the Israel Defense Forces, he played his first team match against Hapoel Tel Aviv. He played for the Israeli Air Force football team in an IDF tournament. In 1982, Jack Mansell arrived to coach Maccabi Haifa. Yochanan Vollach ( he, יוחנן וולך, also Jochanan Wallach or Yohanan Wallach, born May 14, 1945) is an Israeli former footballer. He was a member of the Israeli national team that competed at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. He is a member of the Israeli Football Hall of Fame. Vollach is President of the Maccabi Haifa sports organization, and CEO of the Israeli Chamber of Shipping. Biography Born in Kiryat Bialik, Vollach began his sports career with his local club, Maccabi Kiryat Bialik. In 1963, he was drafted to the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) Nahal as an infantry soldier. One of only a handful of professional footballers to serve in active combat in the Nahal, Vollach missed an entire season of football. John Mansell (22 August 1927 – 19 March 2016) was a professional football player and coach. He made 274 appearances in the Football League as a defender for Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City and Portsmouth. After retiring as a player, he joined the coaching staff at Sheffield Wednesday. There, in early April 1964, he became interim manager after the sacking of Vic Buckingham.
