Cecilia Barriga (born 1957) is a Chilean-Spanish film director. Her 1991 film ''Meeting Two Queens'' was shown at Montreal Women's Film and Video Festival and New York International Festival of Gay and Lesbian Film. She directed her first feature film ''Time's Up!'' in New York City. It premiered at the Donostia-San Sebastián Film Festival in 2000 as part of Zabaltegi. Education She left home at 19 to study sound and image at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1983 she began her career in cinema, and in 1984 completed her university degree. In 1994, she moved to New York to further her studies in screenwriting and video art at Columbia University. Gonzalo Felipe Barriga Ahumada (born 21 June 1984) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays for Primera División club Unión La Calera as a midfielder. He was titled as engineer after attending DuocUC. Club career After ending his career of engineering at DuocUC, Barriga was discovered by the Dutchman Jorrit Smink (in that time Deportes Melipilla coach) and convinced him to play at homogeneous city-based team. José Miguel Barriga Castro
José Miguel Barriga Castro ( Los Andes, Chile, June 14, 1816 – September 3, 1886) was a Chilean lawyer, politician and surveyor. He was the son of Don Juan Agustín Barriga and Margarita Castro. On May 24, 1844, he married Trinidad Espinoza Plaza de los Reyes in Cauquenes. Education He began his studies in his hometown and later moved to Santiago, where he studied at the National Institute. He was admitted to the bar on May 3, 1837. He then began his surveying studies, which concluded in 1839. Professional career José Miguel Barriga Castro served first as a teacher at the National Institute, a position he held until 1842, when he became judge of Cauquenes. His good work made him move up quickly. In 1847 he was appointed Governor of Maule, developing a comprehensive work of social progress. Mark Anthony Barriga (born 11 June 1993) is a Filipino professional boxer who challenged for the IBF mini-flyweight title in 2018. As an amateur, Barriaga represented Philippines at the 2012 Olympics, reaching the round of 16 of the light-flyweight bracket. Personal life Barriga was born in Danao, Cebu but grew up in Panabo, Davao del Norte. Mark Anthony was born to Edgar and Melita Barriga, the former a printing machine operator for a Korean company in their hometown. Barriga took up boxing at the age of 10, encouraged by his father.
