Barnabás Sztipánovics
Barnabás Sztipánovics (born 2 July 1974) is a Hungarian retired football player. Career In the 1998–99 season, he shared the place of the scorer leader of the Croatian First Football League with his teammate from Rijeka, Igor Musa, both scoring 14 goals. While playing for Maribor, he scored the decisive goal in the last match of the 2000–01 Slovenian First League season against Olimpija Ljubljana in Ljubljana to secure the fifth league title for Maribor. At the end of the 2004–05 season, the tournament format was changed from one division of 14 teams to two divisions: ''Keleti'' (Eastern) and ''Nyugati'' (Western), each with 16 teams. In 2013 the format was changed and there is one division again with 16 teams, and then 20 teams from 2015. The champion and the runner-up will ascend to the first division while the two lowest teams in NB II are relegated to NB III. The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners. The match is contested at the beginning of the football season, and is usually played at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The most successful team in the competition are Omonia, who have won the trophy on 17 occasions. The current holders are Apollon Limassol, who defeated Omonia 2–0 in the 2022 match. History The first match was played in 1951, under the name Pakkos Shield ( Greek: Ασπίδα Πάκκου).
