Barbara De Loor
Barbara de Loor (born 26 May 1974) is a Dutch retired speed skater who was specialised in the middle long and longer distances, over 1000 to 5000 meters. De Loor will be known in history as a talented skater who often ended up just after the awarded medal positions, which already started in her junior years when she became 6th and 4th at the World Junior Championships in 1992 and 1993 respectively. A few years later after she made the step to the seniors she qualified for the All-around World Championships and finished there in 9th position. That same year she reached two top-10 rankings at the World Single Distance Championships, while participating in three distances (8th over 3000 and 5000 meters, as well as 11th over 1500 meters). This was however also the year that she achieved her first international medal, by becoming third at the European All-around Championships, claiming the bronze. Leimuiden
Leimuiden is a Dutch village in the South Holland municipality of Kaag en Braassem. Leimuiden is located between the Braassemermeer, the Westeinderplassen and the Ringvaart. Leimuiden is located north of Alphen aan den Rijn. History The village was first mentioned in the first half of the 11th century as Letthemutha, and means "mouth of the Leiden river". Leimuiden is a peat excavation settlement from the Middle Ages. The Dutch Reformed church is an aisleless church with built-in tower with needle spire. It was built in 1805 as a replacement of the 1555 church. It was restored between 1963 and 1965, and a consistory was added. Leimuiden was home to 551 people in 1840. It was a separate municipality until 1991, when it became part of Jacobswoude. The village was part of North Holland until 1865. Jimmy Johannes Bakkum (born 10 August 1987) is a Dutch singer, actor, stage actor and television personality. Rising to nationwide fame after becoming runner-up in the first season of Dutch singing competition series '' Idols'', he has released five albums and made a career in musicals and film.
