Barbara Ann Rausch (1941–2001) was a Los Angeles-based comics artist and writer. Biography Barb Rausch was born on 7 June 1941, and worked on a number of comic books, cartoons and newspaper comic strips. A comic strip is a sequence of drawings, often cartoons, arranged in interrelated panels to display brief humor or form a narrative, often serialized, with text in balloons and captions. Kitchen Sink Press was a comic book publishing company founded by Denis Kitchen in 1970. Kitchen Sink Press was a pioneering publisher of underground comics, and was also responsible for numerous republications of classic comic strips in hardcover and softcover volumes.
