The Slovenia Open is a women's tennis tournament held in Portorož, Slovenia, originally from 2005 until 2010, and returning to the tour in 2021. The WTA Tour event was a WTA International category, and now its current variant, the WTA 250 category. It is played on outdoor hardcourts. Portorož
Portorož (; it, Portorose) is a Slovenian Adriatic seaside resort and spa town located in the Municipality of Piran in southwestern Slovenia. Its modern development began in the late 19th century with the vogue for the first health resorts. In the early 20th century Portorož became one of the grandest seaside resorts in the Adriatic, along with Abbazia, Lido and Grado, then as part of the Austrian Littoral. It is now one of Slovenia's major tourist areas. Tatiana Golovin ( rus, Татья́на Григóрьевна Головина́, r=Tatyana Grigoryevna Golovina; born 25 January 1988) is a Russian-born French professional tennis player.
