Sarah Banet-Weiser
Sarah Banet-Weiser is an academic and author. She is currently a joint professor at the Annenberg School of Communication at University of Southern California and at the University of Pennsylvania. She previously was the Head of the London School of Economics and Political Science's Media and Communication Department. In July 2014, Banet-Weiser became director of the USC Annenberg School for Communication. She left the position and became the new Head of the Media and Communication Department at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the fall of 2018. Professional work In 2012, Banet-Weiser's book, ''Authentic™: The Politics of Ambivalence in a Brand Culture,'' was released. The book looks at consumerism and brands. Herbert Charles Banet (October 17, 1913 – March 12, 2003) was an American football player in the National Football League and high school basketball coach, teacher, and guidance counselor. Biography Banet was born October 17, 1913, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Football career Banet played with the Green Bay Packers during the 1937 NFL season. He played at the collegiate level at Manchester University. Basketball career Banet was a head basketball coach and teacher at Central High School in Fort Wayne. Vincent Banet
Vincent Banet is a French rugby league footballer who represented France at the 1995 World Cup. Playing career From the Catalan club, Banet played for the France under-18's in a 1993 match against their Great Britain counterparts. He was later signed by Workington Town, and made his début in October 1994. He returned to France after the season, joining the Limoux club. In 1995 he made his début for France, coming off the bench in one match at the 1995 World Cup. He played in two more matches for France, against South Africa in 1997 and Scotland in 1998. Vicente Banet
Vicente Banet was a Cuban tennis player. In the 1920s he featured in seven Davis Cup ties for Cuba, winning four singles rubbers. His wins came against Jack Wright (Canada), Gilbert Nunns (Canada), Ignacio De La Borbolla (Mexico) and Ricardo Tapia (Mexico). He was part of Cuba's first ever Davis Cup team, with the island one of five countries to debut in the 1924 International Lawn Tennis Challenge. Banet won two bronze medals for Cuba at the 1930 Central American and Caribbean Games.
