BanKo Perlas Spikers
The Perlas Spikers, also previously known as the BanKo Perlas Spikers, are a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League. The team is owned by Beach Volleyball Republic. History The team debuted in the 2017 season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). On January 12, 2022, the team announced it was taking a leave of absence from the 2022 PVL Open Conference due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Charo Soriano
Maria Rosario "Charo" Soriano (born October 14, 1985) is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. She also serves as a Sangguniang Bayan, city councilor of Tuguegarao since 2022. Volleyball career During her collegiate playing career for the Ateneo Blue Eagles, Ateneo Lady Eagles, she played indoor and beach volleyball. After playing With the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2003 to 2008, she worked as assistant coach for this team from 2012 to 2014. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

Dzi Gervacio
Angeline Marie Gervacio, also known as Dzi Gervacio, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a former Ateneo Lady Eagles player and plays for the Petro Gazz Angels. She is known as the Queen of Jump Serve. Career Gervacio won the WNCAA Juniors Division Best Attacker award in 2006 and 2007. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University and her UAAP career in March 2013, ending the Fab 5 era, Gervacio began her law studies at the same university. Katherine Adrielle Bersola
Katherine Adrielle "Kathy" Reyes Bersola (born March 18, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with the University of the Philippines - UP Lady Maroons Volleyball Team. Bersola holds a degree in Sports Science with summa cum laude honors from UP Diliman and later admitted at UP College of Medicine. Career Bersola played with UP Lady Maroons Volleyball Team from UAAP Season 75 to UAAP Season 79, being team captain of the UP Lady Maroons Volleyball Team for UAAP Season 78. 2021 Premier Volleyball League Season
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season was the fourth season of the Premier Volleyball League (17th season of the former Shakey's V-League) and the first season of the PVL as a professional league. No tournament was held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2021 season was staged with precautionary measures. The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the fourth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (31st conference of the former Shakey's V-League). Conference will start on April 27, 2018 with a Grand Fans Day at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City, 9 days before its opening ceremonies and games on May 6, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines.
