Al-Khaldiya SC
Al-Khaldiya Sports Club is a football club based in Hamad Town, Bahrain that competes in the Bahraini Premier League. It is the newest formed football club in Bahrain, established in 2020. Financially it is the richest Bahrain football club and most ambitious. The home ground of the team is Bahrain National Stadium with a capacity of 28.900.In the team name الخالدية It's Arabic, which means "eternity". History Al-Khaldiya Sports Club was formed on 27 October 2020 and started off play in the Bahraini Second Division. In their first season, they finished 2nd with 12 wins, five draws, and just one loss, getting promoted to the Bahraini Premier League. In the qualifying round of the King's Cup, they beat Bahrain SC 6–1 but lost 1–0 to Al Riffa in the round of 16. Al-Muharraq Sports Club ( ar, نادي المحرق الرياضي) is a Bahraini professional football club based in Muharraq. It is one of the oldest sports clubs in the Arabian Peninsula. Al-Muharraq Sports Club has won the Bahraini Premier League 33 times. Al-Muharraq Sports Club also takes part in other sports like futsal, basketball, bowling and volleyball. The 2022 Bahraini Super Cup is the 16th season of the Bahraini Super Cup, an annual Bahraini football match played between the winners of the previous season's Bahraini Premier League and Bahraini King's Cup. Al-Ahli Club of Manama ( ar, النادي الأهلي البحريني) is a Bahraini sports club based in the capital city of Manama. They used to play in the top division in Bahraini football but were relegated to the second division after finishing ninth in the 2011–12 First Division league. The club also fields players in other sports such as basketball, handball and volleyball. Busaiteen
Busaiteen ( ar, البسيتين) is a small town in northern Bahrain. It is located on Muharraq Island, just north of Muharraq City. Etymology The town's name, "''Busaiteen''," pertains to the large number of orchards found in it. Education Busaiteen has to its credit the first school in Bahrain and in the entire Persian Gulf region, which is Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifia School. The Medical University of Bahrain which is a fully owned constituent university of RCSI, opened its new campus in Busaiteen in September 2008.
