Al-Najma SC (Bahrain)
Al-Najma Club ( ar, نادي النجمة) is a Bahraini multi-sports club based in Manama. The club has departments of football, handball, volleyball and basketball. The club's football section competes in the Bahraini Premier League. History Al-Najma Club were amalgamated together with Al Wahda, which won the Bahraini King's Cup in 1988, 1992 and 1994, and Al-Arabi, which won the Bahraini King's Cup in 1969 and the 1974–75 Bahraini Premier League; then with Al-Hilal, Al-Qadisiya, which played the Bahraini King's Cup final in 2000, and Ras Al-Rumman in 2002. Juffair
Juffair ( ar, الجفير) is a district situated in Manama, Bahrain. It was originally a separate village inhabited by Shia Muslims but it has been absorbed by the suburban expansion of Manama in the 20th century, and presently includes large parts of land reclaimed from the sea. It is home to many hotels, restaurants, flats, and villas. It is also the site of Bahrain's largest mosque, Al Fateh Grand Mosque, which houses the National Library. History In 1908, John Gordon Lorimer's ''Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf'' described Juffair as a village located on the northern tip of the cape of Juffair. It boasted 80 reed huts occupied by Baharna, cultivators and fishermen. The village was home to 15 pearling vessels at the time. Al-Muharraq Sports Club ( ar, نادي المحرق الرياضي) is a Bahraini professional football club based in Muharraq. It is one of the oldest sports clubs in the Arabian Peninsula. Al-Ahli Club of Manama ( ar, النادي الأهلي البحريني) is a Bahraini sports club based in the capital city of Manama. They used to play in the top division in Bahraini football but were relegated to the second division after finishing ninth in the 2011–12 First Division league. The club also fields players in other sports such as basketball, handball and volleyball. The GCC Champions League ( ar, دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية), formerly known as the Gulf Cup for Clubs ( ar, كأس الخليج للأندية), was an annually organized football league tournament for clubs of the Arabian peninsula. 2019 AFC Cup
The 2019 AFC Cup was the 16th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club association football, football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Al Ahed FC, Al-Ahed won the title for the first time, defeating 4.25 SC, April 25 in the 2019 AFC Cup Final, final.
