Bahadır Gökay
Bahadır Gökay (born 1955 in Istanbul) is a Turkish painter. He graduated from the Department of Graphics in the State School of Higher Education of Applied Fine Arts Istanbul (now known as Marmara University, Graphic Design) in 1982. He was yet a student when he started working as an art director in distinguished advertising companies. He established his own company in 1984 and became the creative director of many significant brands. In addition to his 13 solo exhibitions in Turkey, Greece and Kosovo, he also exhibited his work in Florence Biennale (Italy, 2005), The Biennial of Contemporary Art 'De Nittis' (Italy, 2007)VI. Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a solid surface (called the "matrix" or "support"). Marmara University
Marmara University ( Turkish: ''Marmara Üniversitesi'') is a public university in Istanbul, Turkey. The university is named after the Sea of Marmara and was founded as a university in 1982. However, it was created in 1883 under the name of ''Hamidiye Ticaret Mekteb-i Âlisi'', in a house in the center of Istanbul. The Biennale Internazionale Dell’Arte Contemporanea, also known as the Florence Biennale is an art exhibition held in Florence, Italy. Since 1997 it has been held every two years in the exhibition spaces of the Fortezza da Basso, Florence. Kosovo
