Bae Hyun-jin
Bae Hyun-jin (Hangul: 배현진; born 6 November 1983) is a South Korean broadcaster and politician. Prior to entering politics, she was the anchor for Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), based in Seoul, South Korea. Career Bae graduated from Sookmyung Women's University's Seoul campus with a degree in Communications and Korean Language and Literature after graduating from Dongsan High School in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. She won the silver prize at the Sookmyung Speech Contest and Speaker prize at the University Student Speech Contest in 2007 when she was a university student. She also worked as a public relations model for Sookmyung Women's University during her school days. She was picked up by MBC in November 2008 among 1,926 competitors and began presenting news updates for the 5 p.m. MBC News in 2009. 2010 Asian Games
The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), was a regional multi-sport event celebrated from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010. It was the second time China had hosted the Asian Games, with the first one being Asian Games 1990 hosted in Beijing. 2020 South Korean Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in South Korea on 15 April 2020. All 300 members of the National Assembly were elected, 253 from first-past-the-post constituencies and 47 from proportional party lists. They were the first elections held under a new electoral system. The two largest parties, the liberal Democratic Party and the conservative United Future Party, set up new satellite parties (also known as bloc parties) to take advantage of the revised electoral system. The reforms also lowered the voting age from 19 to 18. The Democratic Party and its satellite, the Platform Party, won a landslide victory, taking 180 of the 300 seats (60%) between them. The Chinese zodiac is a traditional classification scheme based on the lunar calendar that assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle. Originating from China, the zodiac and its variations remain popular in many East Asian and Southeast Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan and Thailand.
